    • Recognized risk of personal embarassment.



  • the customer pays your paycheck. 
    • If you do not satisfy your custmoers satisfactions -> no customers - >no business
  • This guy is obviously reading straight from a script, and talking aobut very, VERY generic business topics that you pick up from any basic economics class.
    • Chinese dinner, big round tables. Low cost in china, didnt work out.
    • Asians know American's  are impatient. They will wait us out.
  • Manufacture automated butterfly valves
  • Aggie 100 company 3 times
  • Entrepreneur has these characteristics
    • Risk taker – calculated
    • Dreamer

    • Determined
    • Self-confidence
    •  Financially capable – having business sense
    •  Leader
  • What a successful business man learns

    • Recognize the customer pays your pay check
    • People are your greatest aspect of your company
  • 25 years ago there was no “made in china”
  • If you ever go to Asia to close an order, final negotiation will always begin the last 5 hours before you leave
  • First 5 minutes are crucial for first impressions (95%)
  • First impression is the hardest to change of another individual
  • People do business with those they trust and feel comfortable with
  • Show interest in who people are…it is free and you will gain the most
